		<description>That&#039;s great Cheryl. It really is. Often places do a similar thing but it&#039;s to place blame first. People get into trouble in this process.

Stress also kills people. It leads to heart problems, strokes and this isn&#039;t good. I wonder if there are any studies that show caregivers death rates over other professions...morbid thought BUT,.. one has to wonder.

The whole teamwork concept is really the one thing that can correct all this. Not only will it help prevent stress, it can assist with dealing with stress as it comes.</description>

		<description>Where I work when something really bad happens with a resident (untimely death, a fall, abusive event) we have After Action Meetings. These meetings aren&#039;t supposed to be a blame game session but more of a release session. The meetings are for the nurses and aides only. We&#039;ll talk about how the event happened and how it&#039;s effected the unit; things to do next time to prevent a repeat and the like. It&#039;s always ok to cry at these meetings. Its one of the good things at work.</description>
