Always. Everytine I'm in the rooms I pick up after myself..and at the end of my shift I make one last set of rounds to make sure things are in order. We have some residents who wander a lot and get into things in others' rooms, so that's a problem sometimes. Usually redirecting them helps but some of them really think another room is their *room*. Always relevant too- I see far too many MESSY untidy rooms in nursing homes! Sometimes it is the resident who keeps things this way but not always.
