I have decided to write a book. I keep hearing how great of a writer that I am and how I need to write
a book so what better subject to write about, than what we all do for a living! lol. So, I got to thinking
about a mini-series. Kind of like a soap. Have it continue and continue, almost like one of those columns
in a magazine. The series would of course contain fictional characters, names, places. I was wondering
if we could possibly put this mini-series on your site?? I am writing a book more on the actual topics addressing
real and factual issues, but I thought writing a fictional twin using situations that CAN happen solely for the
purpose of entertainment and learning would also be a cool asset to your website. It would address
the following issues:
Nurse Rawhide (the mean nurse)
Dementia and Alzheimers
The Blame Game (It wasn’t me…, it was her!)
Facility Gossip
The DON/ADON wars
Shift Nightmares
Accidents
CNA Injuries
Education (Becoming a CNA)
Nurse Wars
Write-Ups
Administrators
Delegation of Duty
Residents Lash Out
Cheap Facilities
Sanitation
Holidays/Religious Services
Uniforms
Get me out of here! (When the resident wants to go home)
The Great Nurse (A tribute to the best)
Work sick or you’re fired!
Getting fired
Quitting
Census
Pay
The Job Hunt
Roles and Duties
Double Up Stuff (double shifts)
Decubitus Ulcers
CNA Conflict
Med Theft
Skipped Pay
Clients With Attitude (Home Health Setting)
Abusing CNA’s
Can’t Find It! (Supply shortage)
Won’t Eat (resident issues)
CNA Tattle-Tales
Dealing with Families
She likes it just so! (resident issues)
Where did she go? (The Wanderer)
Saying goodbye to the field
